MACROS

*DO NOT CALIBRATE YOUR GAMEPAD IF NOTHING IS WRONG WITH IT* Recalibration could mess up the default analog values, only recalibrate if your analog sticks and/or triggers are NOT working properly. 1. Make sure controller is not connected to anything first, remove dongle from XBOX / PC 2. Press A+B on the Hunter and the back reset button. When the 4 LEDS turn on, the gamepad is officially in calibration mode. 3. Rotate the sticks 4-5 times (both left and right stick) 4. Press ZL and ZR triggers down 3 times each 5. Press right arrow button to exit. 6. Your controller is now recalibrated!

    There is to much of a dead zone in the trigers and thum sticks for racing games. It seems to be fine for shooters but I mainly play racing games.

    Everything about this controller is great, but it currently has a serious issue that I’m hoping is addressed soon in a firmware update. When using the controller on PC (it might occur on an Xbox as well, but I do not have one to test) the diagonals on the left thumbstick will develop an insane deadzone over the course of play. I saw a few people on reddit having the same issue and one of them noted that resetting the controller fixes it. This is true, but the issue comes back within 5-10 minutes of play. For reference, I have a defender (I even tried using the usb dongle on the hunter to see if that would help) and this issue is not present at all on that controller. Otherwise, I was already a fan of the defender and this controller would be better in everyway (especially comfort, the grooved back and triggers are great), but with the thumbstick issue I’m not going to be using the controller much since its a little bothersome remembering to press the reset button every 5 minutes or so. I’ll certainly update this review to a 5/5 if a firmware update is released to address this issue.

    Great customer service, contacted support asking about my order’s incredibly long delivery time due to the pandemic and chip shortages. Would give 5/5 if it had been delivered in reasonable time. 6 months is way too long.
