i purchased 2 of the green controllers.
they are absolutely fantastic.
the feel when they are in your hand is great, they work really well, the thumbstick are really good and so are the buttons, so happy with this controller. im waiting till they come back in stock to buy another 2 in the green.
if they release the clear and blue ill also buy those if that ever happens.
Purchased the clear green Hunter controller for my childhood og xbox and I am very pleased with. The build quality and weight are excellent aswell as the textured finish.
Obviously the original controller has a level of nostalgia to it but this is a great replacement and the wireless variant I purchased is fantastic and really makes the system more usable in the current date.
I’d highly recommend this as a very good replacement controller.
I purchased this controller with the intent to use it with both my PC and original Xbox. Unfortunately, when trying to update the firmware for the PC dongle, it failed part way through, giving me a “Download Failture” error, and the controller could no longer communicate with the PC dongle. Fortunately, after reaching out to support, they said that they would send me a replacement. I was expecting to get just a new PC dongle, but was pleasantly surprised when I found a brand new controller and set of dongle! I was very impressed with this, and plan to do business with Retro Fighters again in the future. Thank you for the great controller and customer experience, Retro Fighters!
There is to much of a dead zone in the trigers and thum sticks for racing games. It seems to be fine for shooters but I mainly play racing games.
Firmware was finally released that fixed the dead zone issue! As as I said before, its a great controller and it just needed to fix that and it would be an easy 5/5
